Levvy Updates: Latest Feature Updates

At Levvy, we believe great software is never finished—it keeps getting better. Every month, we listen to your feedback, identify friction points, and deliver meaningful updates that make your work smoother, faster, and more collaborative.

From bulk actions in document storage and smarter time exports to task-level improvements that boost clarity and control. Every update was inspired by real user input—and designed to make Levvy work even better for you.

Let’s dive into what’s new (and what’s coming soon).

See Who Created the Ad Hoc Task

Ad hoc tasks are a favorite among managers for assigning quick, unplanned work. But when team members have questions, they often don’t know who to ask for context.

Now, every ad hoc task—whether part of a workflow or standalone—shows the creator’s name. This makes it easy for team members to track down the right person and avoid delays.

Keep Task Assignee When Reorganizing Teams

Whether you're restructuring from dedicated client teams to industry-focused groups, or expanding by launching a new division. These shifts require you to reshuffle client work while keeping service delivery seamless.

To ensure client’s work remains without interruption, Levvy now preserves task assignments automatically

As long as the original assignee is in the new team, their tasks stay assigned. If not, future tasks will be unassigned for reassignment. Tasks before today will remain unchanged to preserve historical accuracy.

Here’s a step-by-step best practice article.

Company Name Now Included in File Request Emails

Requesting documents via Levvy doesn’t just speed up your workflow—it also automatically stores everything in one place, keeping your client records clean and centralized.

Now, we’ve made it even clearer for clients who manage multiple companies or entities. File request emails will include the client’s company name, so your contacts always know exactly which entity the request is for.

Selling CAS Without Understanding Your Delivery Capacity Is a Risk Most Firms Underestimate

Selling CAS Without Understanding Your Delivery Capacity Is a Risk Most Firms Underestimate

CAS sounds like growth, but without capacity visibility, it creates hidden strain. Recurring advisory work stacks quickly. Scope expands, communication increases, and workflows become harder to control. Without structure, teams absorb the pressure and margins quietly erode. CAS only works when delivery is controlled. If you cannot see capacity, workload, and effort in real time, growth becomes a risk, not an advantage.
Pricing Without Capacity Insight Is Guesswork

Pricing Without Capacity Insight Is Guesswork

Pricing without understanding capacity is guesswork. If you cannot see how work flows, where time is spent, and how stretched your team is, pricing decisions rely on instinct. This often leads to underpricing, hidden inefficiencies, and pressure on your team. When pricing is based on real delivery data and capacity, it becomes a controlled lever for protecting margins and scaling with confidence
The KPIs That Actually Help You Manage a Growing Accounting Firm

The KPIs That Actually Help You Manage a Growing Accounting Firm

As firms grow, instinct stops working. You need the right KPIs to see what is really happening. Metrics like WIP days, realization, utilization, and cycle time show where work slows, margins shrink, and capacity breaks down. They help you spot issues early, not after the numbers drop. Tracking the right KPIs gives you the visibility to manage performance, not just report on it.
How Time Becomes the Hidden Line Item in Your Firm (and What to Do About It)

How Time Becomes the Hidden Line Item in Your Firm (and What to Do About It)

Firms often hit revenue targets but still struggle with profitability. The missing piece is time. When time is only used for billing, it hides inefficiencies, extra work, and capacity issues. By connecting time to workflows, firms can see where effort is going and make better decisions. Understanding time, not just tracking it, is what helps protect margins.
